PUKKA LAUNCHES FASHION COLLECTION

Crowds of football fans and pie lovers alike are about to go wild as Pukka, the nation’s number one pie brand, debuts its new exclusive collaboration with football fashion collective, Art of Football, ahead of London Fashion Week.

Launching the 400-piece collection, created by legendary fashion visionaries, Art of Football, Pukka has taken to Rotherham FC to stage its very own pitch-side fashion preview – set to be the hottest new kit, in and out of the stadium.

Bringing the runway from the catwalk-side to pitch-side, the collection features an iconic, vintage-style football shirt that takes you back to the 1970s when Pukka first conquered football stadiums. And to spur more nostalgia, the 1990s-inspired drill top features the iconic Pukka Pies logo on the front and their classic advertising slogan ‘Don’t Compromise’ on the back.

And whether you like your pies filled with football favourite, Chicken Balti, Meat & Potato, or Steak and Kidney, there’s now a cap for that, with the collection featuring the names of these popular Pukka pies, embroidered in all their glory. The collaboration also features an all-new exclusive t-shirt design.

Pukka’s journey into the hearts (and stomachs) of football fans began in 1976 when they first graced Rotherham’s football grounds with their tasty pies. Fast forward to today, and they’ve become the halftime pie of choice for millions, both at home and at the match. Pukka pies are now an essential part of football culture, savoured in over 40 clubs across the UK.

Taking things one step further, Pukka is on a mission to celebrate and reward the warmth in football through their new initiative, Pukka Athletic, set to champion the people and clubs making a difference in grassroots football.

Rachel Cranston, Head of Brand Strategy at Pukka, said: “Pukka and football go hand in hand, with millions of fans enjoying a Pukka halftime pie at football matches around the country. The range created with Art of Football captures all this history and heritage, as well as our future commitment to the game. And where better to launch our debut fashion collaboration, than the grounds of Rotherham FC, the very first club we collaborated with, almost 50 years ago. Proceeds from sales of the range will help to support the brilliant work of so many clubs, communities, and individuals across the country.”

The Pukka x Art of Football range launches Friday 15 September, and is available to purchase on the Art of Football website. More information on Pukka Athletic can be found by visiting www.pukkaathletic.com or by following Pukka on social media.
