POPEYES UK LAUNCHES ITS FIRST-EVER BOX MEALS

Popeyes UK, the New Orleans-born fast food brand, is kicking off summer right with the launch of its first-ever Box Meals: the Chicken Sandwich Box Meal, Chicken Sandwich Deluxe Box Meal, and Signature Louisiana Chicken Box Meal. The launch of the boxes means that for the first time ever, Popeyes fans can get Mixin’ Munchin’ Combo Crunchin’ all for as little as £9.99.

With every Box Meal, fans can select an iconic Popeyes Sandwich (choosing either Classic or Spicy), paired with a side of two Chicken Tenders or three Hot Wings. Or, they can forgo the Sandwich and opt for a combo of three Chicken Tenders and three Hot Wings. Each meal also comes with regular fries and a regular drink — meaning a mouth-watering saving of over £7* when fans order their favourite items as a Box Meal. What’s more, Popeyes fans can spice up their order with Cajun Fries instead of regular for only £1.

Coming in hot later this summer will be the Louisiana BBQ Sandwich Box Meal, launching on 16th July for a limited time only. After popular demand, the Louisiana BBQ Sandwich is back with a Shatter Crunchin’ fried chicken breast, smoked cheese, fresh pickles, BBQ sauce and mayo in a soft brioche bun. In addition to the sweet, sticky and smoky goodness; regular fries, a regular drink and a choice of either two Chicken Tenders or three Hot Wings will be included within the Box Meal.

Each Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Box Meal is filled with Popeyes’ iconic Shatter Crunchin’ chicken – all prepared using 100% fresh chicken and marinated for 12 hours in a signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices. The succulent chicken breasts are then hand-breaded and battered to create the iconic crunchy coating Popeyes® customers know and love.

What’s more, as temperatures start to soar, fans can enjoy the convenience of mess-free boxed-up chicken as they flock to their local park this summer. Perfect for sharing, or enjoying by yourself, the Box Meals are an ideal picnic food option as the sun finally arrives across the UK, with all the Popeyes® menu favourites in one place. With the sun sticking around, fans can also get their hands on Popeyes®’ Millionaire Whipz and Shake and Strawberry Cheesecake Whipz – as an ice cool way to finish their meal. And if the weather is temperamental? The Box Meals are also the perfect partner for a night gaming or watching a film on the sofa.
