PizzaExpress has today announced the return of its most festive day of the year – Snowball Dough Ball Day, on Thursday 1st December. Across all of its 350+ Pizzerias, pizzaiolos will be baking up the deliciously sweet, Christmas version of its iconic Dough Balls for customers to enjoy for just £1.
A sweet take on the classic starter, Snowball Dough Balls are dusted with cinnamon and icing sugar and served with a choice of tangy fruit coulis, luxurious salted caramel or classic vanilla flavoured dip with a chocolate straw.
All proceeds from Snowball Dough Ball Day will go to the brand’s national charity partner, Nordoff Robbins, a partnership that began last summer and has since raised enough funds for over 4,000 music therapy sessions. United with PizzaExpress by a shared passion for music*, Nordoff Robbins is the country’s largest music therapy charity, breaking down barriers through the power of music, creating space for people to express themselves and connect with others.
Snowball Dough Balls are one of many festive favourites unveiled on the new PizzaExpress Christmas menu launched today.
NEW ON THE MENU THIS CHRISTMAS:
- Truffle Dough Balls
Indulgently moreish, these Dough Balls are coated in truffle & garlic butter, then seasoned with plenty of black pepper and Gran Milano Cheese.
- Carbonara Romana
A classic pasta dish reimagined in pizza form. This thin and crispy pizza is made with salty pancetta, mozzarella and garlic oil on a creamy bechamel base, topped with a free-range egg, gran Milano cheese and parsley
- Mushroom & Truffle Romana
A previous best-seller, the vegetarian pizza sees mixed mushrooms joined by opulent truffle oil and three types of cheese for a full on, decadent flavour
- White Chocolate Roulade
A new luxurious White Forest Roulade with pomegranate seeds and a zingy fruit coulis – perfect after pizza. Those looking to raise a glass of festive cheer can try the new seasonal tipples including the Prosecco and Pomegranate Mimosa. For those who prefer something alcohol free, the menu offers a Ginger and Pomegranate Sparkle which is made with spiced orange ginger ale, pomegranate syrup and fresh pomegranate gems to finish.
