Opening this July on London’s iconic Strand, The Stranded is more than your average pub. It’s a celebration of beer done properly.
Think world-class Czech lagers from Budvar, perfectly poured by passionate pros (also known as tapsters), alongside rotating keg lines, and expertly kept cask ales. All of this comes to life in a beautiful new space designed with drinkers in mind.
At the heart of The Stranded is a stunning 13-metre Czech-built bar fitted with rare side-pour taps usually only to be found in Prague. This means every pint is poured with care, precision, and just the right amount of foam, sealing in freshness and flavour like nothing else. Beers will be served in three Czech style pours:
- Hladinka – a full glass with a rich, smooth foam head
- Šnyt – a smaller pour with more foam, perfect for a lighter drink
- Mlíko – a mug full of sweet, silky foam (a Czech favourite!)
Expect iconic Budvar lagers served the way they’re meant to be: cold, crisp, and poured by trained tapsters who take beer seriously. The Stranded will be serving up Budvar Original, Nefiltr, Dark, and even 0.0%, alongside seven rotating keg lines and four expertly kept cask ales.
And at The Stranded, it’s not just about what’s in your glass, it’s also how it’s served. Every glass is cleaned and prepped to perfection, because great beer deserves great care.
Created by the team behind beloved pubs like Euston Tap and Piccadilly Tap, The Stranded is here to raise the bar — literally — for London’s beer lovers.
