OneRepublic have released their brand-new single ‘Pay That Toll’, arriving just weeks before the GRAMMY-nominated band headlines two nights at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic.
The new track, released via BMG, marks the latest chapter in what has already been a busy year for OneRepublic, who have been travelling the world on their international tour while continuing to release new music.
‘Pay That Toll’ is available to stream now, with the band also unveiling an accompanying visualizer for the new single.
OneRepublic Set for Hollywood Bowl Fireworks Finale
The release comes ahead of OneRepublic’s highly anticipated performances at the Hollywood Bowl on September 11 and 12, 2026, where the band will headline the venue’s annual Fireworks Finale alongside the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
The two concerts will begin at 8pm, bringing the Hollywood Bowl’s summer season to a spectacular close with a special end-of-summer performance followed by the venue’s iconic fireworks display.
For fans in Los Angeles, the shows promise to be a major highlight of OneRepublic’s 2026 touring schedule.
A Busy Year for OneRepublic
‘Pay That Toll’ follows several major releases from OneRepublic throughout 2026.
The band released ‘Need Your Love’ in April, followed by ‘In Your Eyes’, their fourth collaboration with producer Alesso, in June. The group has also continued to celebrate its extensive catalogue, releasing Dreaming Out Loud (Deluxe Edition) on vinyl for the first time.
The band returned from an international tour in July after headlining shows across Europe, New Zealand, Australia and Asia, adding another chapter to an already packed year.
From ‘Apologize’ to ‘I Ain’t Worried’
Since breaking through in 2007 with their debut album Dreaming Out Loud, OneRepublic have become one of pop-rock’s most commercially successful groups.
The album featured the global smash ‘Apologize’, which became a record-breaking hit and earned the band a GRAMMY nomination.
Their follow-up albums Waking Up and Native cemented their international success, with the latter featuring ‘Counting Stars’, one of the band’s biggest songs and a global No. 1 hit.
More recently, OneRepublic introduced a new generation of listeners to their music with ‘I Ain’t Worried’, which featured prominently in Top Gun: Maverick. The track has now surpassed 3 billion streams.
The band has also collaborated with artists including David Guetta, Kygo, Jelly Roll and Alesso, while contributing music to major entertainment and gaming projects.
In 2024, OneRepublic teamed up with David Guetta for ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’, while their songs ‘Nobody’ and ‘Invincible’ appeared in the anime Kaiju No. 8.
Their sixth studio album, Artificial Paradise, followed, featuring tracks including ‘Hurt’ and ‘Sink or Swim’, alongside a deluxe edition featuring additional collaborations and acoustic versions.
More recently, the group released ‘Give Me Something’, the official theme song for Arknights: Endfield, ahead of the highly anticipated game’s launch in January 2026.
