Nike and the NFL are taking their Rivalries programme into its second year, unveiling eight new uniforms inspired by the communities, cultures and traditions behind some of the league’s biggest divisional rivalries.
Nike and the National Football League have revealed the next chapter of the Nike x NFL Rivalries programme, with eight new uniforms arriving for the 2026 NFL season.
Following the programme’s launch in 2025, this year’s collection turns the spotlight towards the NFC North and AFC South, with the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans all receiving new Nike-designed Rivalries uniforms.
The programme is designed to bring together football, fashion and fandom, with each uniform drawing inspiration from the identity and communities surrounding its respective franchise.
Nike x NFL Rivalries Enters Its Second Year
Launched in 2025, the Rivalries programme began with teams from the AFC East and NFC West, giving franchises a new way to celebrate the history and culture surrounding their divisional matchups.
The first release proved hugely popular with fans, becoming Fanatics’ best-selling merchandise release to date, according to Nike and the NFL. That success has paved the way for the programme to expand across all eight divisions over four NFL seasons.
The 2026 collection continues that approach, with each participating team receiving a distinctive uniform designed around its own local identity.
After making their on-field debut, the Rivalries uniforms will remain part of each team’s uniform rotation for three seasons, alongside their existing alternate kits.
The programme will continue to expand in 2027 and 2028, with the remaining NFL divisions set to join the initiative.
When Will The 2026 NFL Rivalries Uniforms Be Worn?
The eight new uniforms will make their competitive debuts during home games against divisional opponents throughout the 2026 NFL season.
The 2026 Rivalries teams and their scheduled games are:
- Indianapolis Colts: Week 3 vs Houston Texans
- Green Bay Packers: Week 5 vs Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions: Week 8 vs Minnesota Vikings
- Jacksonville Jaguars: Week 8 vs Indianapolis Colts
- Tennessee Titans: Week 10 vs Jacksonville Jaguars
- Houston Texans: Week 11 vs Indianapolis Colts
- Minnesota Vikings: Week 15 vs Detroit Lions
- Chicago Bears: Week 16 vs Green Bay Packers
Meanwhile, the eight teams that debuted Rivalries uniforms in 2025 will also return to the field in their existing designs for selected divisional matchups this season.
One of the standout fixtures will come in Week 16, when the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks are scheduled to face one another with both teams wearing their Rivalries uniforms. It will mark the first time two teams wearing Rivalries designs meet in the same game.
From NFL Stars To Hometown Icons
The 2026 Rivalries launch is also being supported by a series of visual campaigns created by the participating teams.
Rather than simply focusing on the uniforms themselves, the campaigns explore the people and places that have helped shape each franchise’s identity.
NFL stars and legends including Jameson Williams, Jordan Love, Nico Collins, Sauce Gardner and Randy Moss feature across the campaigns, alongside hometown talent such as rappers Big Sean, Slim Thug and Bun B.
Country artists Gowa Gibbs and Thomas Edwards also feature, helping connect the uniforms to the music, culture and communities surrounding the teams.
The approach builds on the original Rivalries concept, which Nike describes as being rooted in local community insights and designed to reflect the history and character of each market.
When Can You Buy The 2026 NFL Rivalries Jerseys?
Fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the new designs.
The 2026 Nike x NFL Rivalries jerseys and fan apparel will be available from 1 September, with products launching through Nike, NFL Shop and Fanatics, as well as team stores and selected retailers.
International fans will also be able to shop through NFL Shop’s international sites and selected retailers.
