The National Basketball Association’s professional eSports league, the NBA 2K League, which features the best NBA 2K players in the world, has announced that it is rebroadcasting a ‘Game of the Day’ in a primetime evening viewing slot for fans in Europe as part of the league’s efforts to reach an international audience.
Every Thursday – Saturday at 7pm BST through to the NBA 2K Finals in August, the NBA 2K League will rebroadcast the most compelling matchup from the previous night on Twitch and YouTube.
NBA 2K League Managing Director Brendan Donohue said: “The launch of the NBA 2KL League ‘Game of the Day’ in Europe is another step towards us giving our fans around the world more ways to connect with the league and our players. Fans love to watch live sports in primetime, and we want to give our fans across Europe that opportunity. So, every Thursday to Saturday night at 2 p.m. ET, we will air the best game from the night before on Twitch and YouTube. We can’t wait to show more European fans the excitement of seeing the best NBA 2K players in the world compete under the bright lights of our studio in NYC.”
