London Victoria is getting a brand-new food destination this October, as Market Place Food Hall prepares to open its doors with 10 independent traders, cocktails, craft beer, live sport and hundreds of opening-day freebies.
If you’re usually grabbing a meal deal before catching a train from London Victoria, there’s about to be another option on the menu.
Market Place Food Hall Victoria will officially open on Friday 16 October 2026, bringing what is billed as the UK’s first food hall inside a railway station to Victoria Place Shopping Centre.
The new 180-seat venue will bring together 10 independent food traders serving dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world, alongside a dedicated bar and screens showing major sporting events.
And, perhaps most importantly for anyone who has ever lost track of time while eating before a train, the food hall will have live train departure screens inside the venue.
A New Food Destination Inside Victoria Station!
Located within Victoria Place Shopping Centre, Market Place Food Hall Victoria will be accessible via the main station concourse, the taxi rank and Eccleston Bridge.
Rather than being designed solely around commuters grabbing something quickly, the venue aims to create somewhere visitors can actually sit down, eat and spend time.
The food hall will feature 180 seats, with the venue welcoming commuters, families, groups of friends and even dogs.
Whether you’re looking for a quick meal before a train, somewhere to meet friends after work or a place to watch the latest sporting action, Market Place Food Hall is designed to offer a more social alternative to traditional station dining.
The addition of live departure screens means guests can also keep an eye on their train while enjoying their food, rather than having to constantly leave their table to check the station boards.
10 Independent Traders Are Coming to Victoria!
The main attraction is the food, with Market Place bringing together 10 independent global food traders under one roof.
The line-up spans Mexican, Argentinean, Korean, Caribbean, Nigerian, Japanese, Italian, Greek and Thai-inspired dishes, meaning there will be plenty of choice for different tastes.
The Full Market Place Food Hall Victoria Line-Up
Argentinian Grill will serve flame-grilled Argentinian meats, steaks and BBQ favourites.
Hide & Greek will bring gyros, Greek-style wraps, salad boxes and loaded fries to the food hall.
Fans of Japanese cuisine can head to Inamo Sukoshi for fresh sushi and Japanese-inspired street food.
Jollof Mama will serve jollof rice alongside bold West African dishes inspired by Nigerian flavours.
Limin will combine Caribbean and Indian influences, with a menu featuring Jerk Chicken Roti, Curried Goat, Mac & Cheese, Panipuri, Doubles and Samosas.
For pizza, Made in Puglia will serve authentic Italian options, including halal, vegetarian and vegan choices.
SABA will bring Korean-inspired bulgogi bowls and crispy fried chicken.
Streat Latin will offer tacos, burritos, arepas and loaded nachos.
Thai food will also be represented by Thai House, serving classics including Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Massaman Curry and other Thai street food favourites.
Rounding out the line-up is The Duck Shed, specialising in signature duck wraps, duck burgers and other indulgent duck dishes.
Cocktails, Craft Beer and Live Sport!
The food hall won’t just be about grabbing something to eat.
Visitors will also find a dedicated bar serving cocktails and craft beer, while screens throughout the venue will show major sporting events.
That means Market Place Food Hall Victoria could work just as well for an after-work drink or a night watching sport as it does for a pre-train meal.
The new venue joins Market Place Food Hall’s existing London locations in Leicester Square, St Paul’s, Vauxhall, Harrow and Peckham, expanding the brand’s presence across the capital.
550 Free Food and Drink Offers Are Up for Grabs!
To mark the opening, Market Place Food Hall is launching a series of offers designed to get Londoners through the doors during its first few weeks.
From 16 October to 26 October, there will be 50 free food and drink offers available every day from 5pm.
With the promotion running for 11 days, that works out at 550 opportunities to bag a freebie.
The daily offers will be announced through Market Place Food Hall’s Instagram page, so visitors will need to keep an eye on its social media to find out what is available each day.
There will also be a weekday drinks deal, with £5 Margaritas and £5 pints available during Happy Hour from 3pm until 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Free Drinks for New Rewards Members!
There will be another reason to sign up to Market Place’s rewards platform.
New customers will receive a free welcome drink when they sign up, while customers can also receive a free drink when they spend £10 or more.
The welcome drink must be redeemed within one month of signing up.
With free food and drinks, discounted Margaritas and pints, and additional rewards, the opening period is set to offer plenty of incentives for visitors to check out the new venue.
A Food Hall Designed Around Your Train Journey!
Market Place Food Hall founder Sam Hosseini said the Victoria location was created to challenge the traditional idea of station dining.
“Victoria is one of the busiest stations in the country, and we wanted to create an experience that challenges the traditional perception of station dining.”
Hosseini explained that Market Place aims to combine the convenience of eating at a transport hub with the quality and character of independent food traders.
The live departure screen is also intended to make the experience more relaxed for commuters, allowing them to sit down and enjoy their food while keeping track of their train.
The founder described the idea as transforming time spent at the station into part of the journey, rather than simply treating it as a stop between destinations.
When Does Market Place Food Hall Victoria Open?
