The Verge team enjoyed a great, laid back lunch today at Lawn E1W – a diverse and vibrant pop-up street market with a beautiful view of Tower Bridge. Although there was a bit of wind, the sun was shining, prompting us to opt for a hand-crafted pizza from “Tasty Dough.” Not only was the pizza completely made from fresh ingredients, but the entire baking baking process is done on the spot in a wood-fired oven in 90 seconds – not bad for lunch in a hurry!

Lawn E1W has a small but excellent choice of Tasty Dough or Banger Bros for food and Birra Moratti or Little Bird Gin for drinks which were all delicious.

The venue not only offered good food, but also offered its own form of entertainment with music playing from a set of speakers which added to the relaxed and easygoing atmosphere.

Lawn E1w @ Tower Bridge is located on St. Katherine’s Way, a five minute walk from Tower Hill Station and Tower Gateway. Open 7 days a week 11:30am-7pm daily.
