Kickers is bringing five decades of music, street style and British youth culture together with the launch of Kickers Classics, fronted by DJ and producer Eliza Rose.
Kickers is stepping beyond its school-shoe heritage with the launch of Kickers Classics, a new fashion-focused identity celebrating the footwear brand’s longstanding connection to British music, nightlife and youth culture.
Launching from 7pm on 2 September 2026, the new campaign stars DJ and producer Eliza Rose and has been produced by cult vintage institution Wavey Garms, bringing together references from five decades of Kickers history.
While Kickers remains firmly associated with its iconic school shoes, the brand has long had a life beyond the classroom. From the music and fashion scenes of the 1970s through to acid house, Madchester, Britpop and grime, its distinctive silhouettes have repeatedly found their way onto the feet of musicians, ravers and creatives.

Eliza Rose Fronts Kickers Classics
The first Kickers Classics campaign takes viewers on a journey through a distinctly British high street, bringing together characters and subcultures from different generations.
Eliza Rose leads the campaign alongside emerging grime artist Jayahadadream, while David Schaal, best known for playing Jay’s dad in The Inbetweeners, makes an appearance delivering a series of Cockney one-liners from a market stall.
The campaign also features the Brit Boys, who are preparing to graduate from the BRIT School, performing a TikTok dance while wearing pieces from the new Kick Hi 75 collection.
Elsewhere, a group of schoolchildren nods to Kickers’ enduring status within British school culture, before the campaign moves into the brand’s fashion and nightlife heritage.
One of the film’s standout moments sees a group of indie-sleaze characters wearing plimsolls turned away from a club, while Kickers wearers are allowed inside. The scene references Kickers’ historic relationship with rave culture and the shoes’ reputation for helping wearers navigate venues with strict “no trainers” policies.
Further appearances come from Rich Evans, Silva Snipa and Sports Banger, helping to connect Kickers’ heritage with the contemporary British creative scene.
The Kick Hi 75 Takes Centre Stage
At the heart of Kickers Classics is the Kick Hi 75, a premium reinterpretation of the original Kick Hi introduced in 1975.
The new silhouette retains the distinctive shape and instantly recognisable design language of the original, including crisp white stitching, chunky cotton laces and Kickers’ signature detailing.
However, the Kick Hi 75 has been redesigned with a more contemporary focus on comfort and premium materials.
Crafted from soft leather, the shoe features an elevated collar with sheepskin lining and softer foam, alongside updated reinforcements designed to improve flexibility and support.
Underfoot, an ultra-hybrid OrthoLite insole combines moulded cushioning with a breathable leather lining, while the signature moulded Kickers outsole provides grip for everyday wear.
The finishing touches also receive an update. The classic Kickers fleurette has been doubled and given subtle debossed detailing, while the black version combines cloud-cream stitching with the brand’s instantly recognisable red and green tabs.
Four Colours for Autumn
The Kick Hi 75 launches in Red, Black, Navy and Tan, with each colourway showcasing the tactile character of the shoe’s soft leather.
Designed to develop its own character over time, the collection embraces the natural variation of leather while keeping the familiar Kickers palette at its core.
The result is a shoe designed to bridge the gap between the brand’s heritage and contemporary adult fashion.
Rather than simply recreating a vintage design, Kickers describes the Kick Hi 75 as an evolution of the original, combining its recognisable aesthetic with updated materials, construction and comfort.
When Does the Kick Hi 75 Launch?
The Kickers Kick Hi 75 launches on 9 September 2026, exclusively through the official Kickers website.
The shoe will be priced at £120 RRP and will be available in Red, Black, Navy and Tan.
With Kickers Classics, the heritage footwear label is clearly looking beyond its traditional schoolwear reputation. By bringing together rave culture, British music, street style and contemporary fashion, the brand is positioning the Kick Hi 75 as a modern adult wardrobe staple while keeping the distinctive character that has made Kickers recognisable for generations.
