Fear not fried chicken fans, the wait is over. KFC has launched the KFC Rewards Arcade – its brand spankin’ new rewards scheme available on the KFC App, which puts the fun back into arcades by giving people the chance to win some tasty prizes when they order in-restaurant, drive-thru or via the app. All app users have to do is either order ahead or scan the QR code in-restaurant or Drive-Thru and place an order to then play a classic arcade themed game for the chance to win.
To celebrate, KFC has been working round the cluck to create limited-edition Colonel’s Coins etched with the Colonel’s face on one side and a QR code to download the app on the other, which will be dropped near arcades in 11 different locations across the UK between 9th and 11th September in the ultimate cross-country treasure hunt.
Get channelling your inner Jack Sparrow, as those who seek out one of the coins in each location and take it to a participating KFC restaurant, will be able to cop an instant epic prize, such as a Dipping Boneless Feast, Trilogy Box Meal or even a £50 voucher.
And to make the competition even spicier, one of the top-secret arcade locations will also have a sneaky extra coin, which unlocks a year’s supply of KFC (yes you read that right… One. Whole. Year) set to keep you and your flock satisfied for months to come.
So, even if you haven’t stepped foot in an arcade for years, now’s the time to check one out and keep your eyes peeled as you may just be in cluck.
The only way to pinpoint the coin’s exact location is to head to KFC’s social channels on 9th, 10th, and 11th September, where X will mark the spot, and all will be revealed.
Fans who aren’t able to find a Colonel’s Coin, fear not, as KFC’s new rewards programme is set to make sure chicken lovers around the country get clucky with a henhouse full of prizes just waiting to be won. To get the chance to play a game on the KFC Rewards Arcade, fans will simply have to scan their QR code in the app before making a purchase in-restaurant, drive-thru or via the KFC app.
