Kerri Watt is a new name for us over at Verge, but all the signs are pointing in the right direction that she could be someone to keep our eyes on!

Here with the brand new video for her upcoming single (to be released on March 11th), ‘The Wild’ is the follow up to her BBC Radio 2 A-listed track, ‘Long Way Home’.

Kerri says about the track, “It’s a song about falling in love. About letting go of bad past experiences and getting lost in the moment and letting yourself be vulnerable again.”

2015 was a pretty strong year for the Scottish born singer, as she was covered across the likes of the Daily Telegraph, The Sun, Notion, Glamour Magazine, to Attitude Magazine, Music Week and Record of the Day amongst many others. She also hit Number 1 on Hype Machine with the remix of her single ‘You’ and won over crowds across last summer’s festivals including Isle of Wight, The Great Escape, Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury. She was also busy out touring with Nina Nesbitt, Ward Thomas, Starsailor, Mike & The Mechanics and The Overtones.

Safe to say, our ears will be listening out for more from Kerri Watt – but for now, check out the new video below.
