JD will proudly serve as the Official Sleeve Partner for Wolves during the 2024/25 season, celebrating the partnership with a music video reveal with UK rap artist Reepa and artist/producer Mutual.
The leading retailer for youth fashion, sports, and lifestyle brands will extend support to the men’s first team, the Wolves Women, and academy teams of Wolves throughout the season, signifying a fusion of sports culture and fashion innovation.
In celebration of this groundbreaking partnership, JD and Wolves have teamed up with Wolves Records artist and Wolves Foundation ambassador Reepa, along with Birmingham-born artist and producer Mutual, to create a unique track and accompanying launch video.
The new track, “Green Light Grove,” boasts an exceptional string arrangement by Rosie Danvers, known for her work with artists like Stormzy, Dave, Little Simz, Coldplay, and Adele. This performance was elevated by a 30-piece string orchestra from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, who brought the track to life on the historic Molineux pitch, marking a significant moment for JD and the club.
As a key element of this exclusive sponsorship, JD will feature its brand prominently on the double row LED perimeter advertising system at the renowned Molineux Stadium. This strategic placement will enhance the visual experience for fans while underscoring the collaborative spirit between JD and Wolves.
Chris Waters, Global Managing Director at JD, comments:
“JD is delighted to welcome Wolves to our growing roster of top tier football sponsorships. This collaboration with Wolves marks a new chapter in our commitment to celebrating sports culture and amplifying the spirit of teamwork. We are thrilled to stand alongside Wolves and champion the values of passion, integrity, and excellence that define both our brands.”
The upcoming season promises to be an unforgettable one, brimming with excitement and innovation, as JD and Wolves unite with electrifying energy to lead the way in sports and fashion alike.
The JD and Wolves partnership will be visible when the Wolves home kit launches later this summer. Don’t miss the official launch on JD social pages to buy online and in-store upon release.
