Soho’s popular Aegean-inspired Greek restaurant, Hovarda, has given eager diners and hungry Theatreland visitors two new reasons to feast there, with the launch of a brand new pre-theatre menu, and the introduction of Kebap Tuesdays.
As of this month, the pre-theatre menu is served Tuesday to Saturday between 17:00 and 19:00, offering 2 courses for £24.50 and 3 courses for £29.50.
The menu highlights include Hovarda’s signature Saganaki (kataifi barrel aged feta, truffle honey, basil), Stonebass (egglemon, fig oil, kohlrabi), and Pistachio Kataifi (served with pistachio cremeaux, caramelised nuts, and cardamon syrup).
Chef John Skotidas, who has rapidly risen in the culinary world and earnt outstanding international recognition, is the newly appointed Executive Chef at Hovarda. Skotidas has combined modern Greek cuisine with rich flavours and influences from South America and Asia which is transcrived throughout the new pre-theatre menu.
Hovarda also launches Kebap Tuesdays this month – priced at £35.00 per person, this high value for money offer includes a platter of your choice to be shared between two, including Adana (a traditional lamb mince skewer), Beef Kofte, Chicken or Liver Shish, and Lamb Chops. To accompany the main event a variety of sides are available to choose from which include Pita Bread, Hummus, Greek Salad, Grilled Broccoli, and Roasted Potatoes.
Of course, not forgetting desert to end on a sweet note with a Pistachio Kataifi.
