British burger favourite Honest Burgers has partnered with Homewrecker, the UK’s ‘OG’ pimento cheese brand, to create its monthly special for April, the Carolina Fried Chicken X Homewrecker Cheese Burger.
The firecracking menu addition serves up British cereal-friend chicken breast, topped with the irresistibly creamy Homewrecker Pimento Cheese that perfectly complements the burger’s zesty BBQ mayo, crisp lettuce, and tangy pickles.
The Homewrecker twist adds a mouth-watering blend of grated cheddar, cream cheese, and piquante peppers – with, or course, the Homewrecker’s secret spice mix. The flavourful fusion is an absolute must-try for April, harmoniously marrying a southern American staple with British honesty, and showcasing a fusion of authenticity and quality that elevates the burger to new heights.
Homewrecker is the creation of American ex-pat Jane Davis, who, craving a taste of home, asked a chef in her local English pub to add her homemade pimento cheese onto her burger. The rest was history. Homewrecker was born, and the newly created masterpiece has remained on the menu since.
Pimento cheese fans and curious burger explorers will need to move fast – the menu special will be available for a limited time only, from 2nd April to 6th May, with a gluten-free version also available.
