From 7th May to 3rd June, Honest Burgers will spotlight The California as their May monthly special, available across restaurants across the UK.
The California, a double smashed beef burger with cheese and bacon, is inspired by the famous California burger. It features two thin Honest patties, bacon, French’s mustard, double American cheese, grilled onions, brown butter burger sauce, tomato, lettuce, and pickles, creating an irresistible toasty, savoury, and smoky taste.
Smashed burgers are well-known for their juicy texture and unmistakable sear, and Honest Burgers adds the magic touch of American mustard as it cooks to maximise the patty’s intense flavour. The combination of the mustard-fried beef, burger sauce, grilled onions, and pickles is a favourite amongst top chefs, Hollywood Stars, and the late great Anthony Bourdain too, making it a true icon of the burger universe – and Honest Burgers elevates it to new heights with decadent brown butter enhancements to the burger sauce, and the addition of crispy bacon to its rich layers.
In addition to the California, every order includes Honest Burgers’ signature homemade rosemary chips, with the option to add or switch to coleslaw or salad to the meal.
