Christmas has officially arrived at Greggs, with the bakery giant unveiling the first wave of its 2026 festive menu.
Launching in shops nationwide from Thursday 1 October, this year’s opening selection combines returning Christmas favourites with an all-new creation: the Sweet Mince Pie Roll.
For anyone who thinks there is no such thing as too much festive food, Greggs is once again bringing plenty of seasonal treats to its counters — and there’s more to come, with additional Christmas menu items set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Greggs’ New Sweet Mince Pie Roll Has Arrived
Taking centre stage in the first Christmas menu drop is the brand-new Sweet Mince Pie Roll.
The new bake takes the flavours of the traditional mince pie and gives them a distinctly Greggs-style makeover, swapping the classic shortcrust pastry for layers of golden, flaky puff pastry.
Inside is a sweet mincemeat filling made with vine fruits, Bramley apples, candied orange and lemon peel, while the finished roll is dusted with icing sugar.
Even better for fans of freshly baked Greggs treats, the Sweet Mince Pie Roll is freshly baked in shops every day.
The new festive creation is available nationwide from £1.00 and contains 354 calories.
Pigs in Blankets Are Back at Greggs!
One of the biggest returns on this year’s menu is the comeback of Pigs in Blankets, which have been absent from Greggs for four years.
Back by popular demand, the festive snack brings together six pork sausages wrapped in smoked streaky bacon, served in a handy little pot.
Whether you consider pigs in blankets the best part of Christmas dinner or simply one of the greatest festive snacks around, Greggs is giving customers the chance to enjoy them away from the Christmas dinner table.

The classic Sweet Mince Pie is also returning for the festive season, featuring crumbly shortcrust pastry filled with sweet mincemeat made from vine fruits, Bramley apple, candied orange and lemon peel.
They’re finished with a light dusting of icing sugar and are vegan-friendly, making them an option for those looking for a plant-based festive treat.
Sweet Mince Pies are available nationwide from £2.60 for a six-pack, with a single pie containing 281 calories.
Christmas Cake Slices Are Back!
Greggs is also bringing back its Christmas Cake Slice, offering another familiar taste of the festive season.
The cake is made with fruit and ground almonds and topped with apricot jam, almond marzipan and white icing.
And, because it’s served as a convenient slice, it’s designed to be enjoyed pretty much anywhere — whether you’re taking a festive break at your desk, grabbing something sweet on the go or settling down with a Christmas film.

Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads Return!
For fans of a festive biscuit with their afternoon tea, Greggs is also bringing back its Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads.
The crumbly shortbread is topped with caramel and white chocolate before being decorated for the festive season.
The mini treats are available from £2.50 for a six-pack, with each shortbread containing 97 calories.
