GoDaddy challenges aspiring UK entrepreneurs to kickstart the new decade as their own boss

GoDaddy partners with MOB Kitchen’s Ben Lebus to launch a 12 Day Challenge to help guide entrepreneurs through the process of getting their business ideas off the ground and create an online presence.

While taking the leap to start a business can be perceived as scary, which might deter would-be entrepreneurs, the potential rewards can be overwhelmingly positive. That is why, at the start of a new year and a new decade, GoDaddy is empowering people with business ideas by guiding them through the process one step at a time, to help bring their venture online.

The guided tasks include elements such as naming your business, planning your costs and identifying target customers. If participants complete all 12 tasks, GoDaddy’s professional website team will build them a new website for their business idea, starting on the 16th January 2020.

Aspiring entrepreneurs can take part by going to www.12daychallenge.co.uk and completing all 12 Day Challenge tasks.

In support of the Challenge, food blog MOB Kitchen, will be encouraging their followers to take part in the challenge and will be offering the opportunity to win a £2,000 prize for the most innovative business idea. MOB Kitchen Instagram followers who have completed all 12 Day Challenge tasks will be judged by Ben Lebus, UK entrepreneur founder of MOB Kitchen and bestselling cookbook author, for consideration to win this prize.

Irana Wasti, GoDaddy Regional President for EMEA said:

People across the UK have amazing business ideas and crave the independence that comes with being your own boss. Yet many are often deterred from making their ideas a reality because they don’t know where to start. The scale of the task can appear daunting, but it does not need to be to get started. That’s why we are challenging the nation and providing the guidance to get Britain’s would-be business owners and side-hustlers online with a professional-looking website. And I often think the start of the year is a time of excitement and desire to get started with something new, so what better time to take that first step in achieving your goals for 2020, than as we start a new decade.”

Ben Lebus, Founder of MOB Kitchen said:

As an entrepreneur myself, I can understand how difficult it is to get a business off the ground. It can seem like a challenging task at the best of times, which is why I’m excited to be supporting GoDaddy’s 12 Day Challenge. Across the 12 days, budding UK entrepreneurs will receive guidance to help get their online presence going with a website. I am excited to see the ideas of MOB Kitchen followers and I can’t wait to see what fantastic businesses emerge as a result of GoDaddy’s challenge!
