Echo Falls has partnered with presenter and podcaster GK Barry to launch a limited-edition fashion accessory designed for the handbag-free generation.
The drinks brand, best known for its viral Blue Raspberry flavour, has unveiled the Echo Falls Carry-All – a playful bra top designed to hold a chilled serve of Echo Falls Blue Raspberry, water, and a range of going-out essentials including phones, keys and lip gloss.
The launch comes as new research commissioned by Echo Falls reveals changing habits among young women, with nearly a third (28%) of women aged 18-29 now choosing to head out without a handbag.
The Rise of the Handbag-Free Generation
According to the research, Gen Z is embracing a more hands-free approach to socialising, with 81% of respondents believing they are the most handbag-free generation yet.
However, despite ditching bags, many women are still faced with a common problem: a lack of practical pockets in women’s fashion.
The survey found that:
- 73% have tucked their phone into their bra or clothing on a night out
- 64% have carried a bank card this way
- 63% have stored photo ID in clothing
- 61% have hidden their keys in clothing
- 51% have carried lip gloss or lipstick without a bag
These findings inspired Echo Falls to create a fashion piece that combines practicality with style.
What Is the Echo Falls Carry-All?
Inspired by the vibrant blue colour of the brand’s popular Blue Raspberry drink, the Echo Falls Carry-All features multiple built-in compartments designed specifically for nights out.
The limited-edition top includes storage space for:
- A smartphone
- Bank card
- Photo ID
- Keys
- Lip gloss
- Gum
The standout feature is its specially designed cup inserts, which can hold a chilled 125ml serve of Echo Falls Blue Raspberry in one side and water in the other.
Echo Falls says the design was created to solve the challenge faced by many women who want to travel light while still carrying their essentials.
GK Barry Stars in New Echo Falls Campaign
To celebrate the launch, GK Barry has partnered with the brand for a tongue-in-cheek campaign inspired by classic television shopping channels.
The campaign film, titled EFTV, sees the social media star joined by real-life shopping channel presenter Sarah Searle as they showcase the Carry-All’s features with deliberately exaggerated sales demonstrations.
Speaking about the collaboration, GK Barry said she immediately related to the concept, describing it as a humorous take on a problem many women experience on nights out.
She added that women’s clothing often lacks practical storage options and praised the Carry-All for combining fashion, functionality and a place for the viral Blue Raspberry drink.
Echo Falls Responds to Consumer Trends
Echo Falls says the concept was developed after listening to fans and observing how younger consumers are approaching fashion and social occasions.
Research from the brand found that 55% of respondents believe life would be easier if bra tops included practical storage compartments, while 94% said they would wear a fashion item that combines style with functionality if it looked good.
Taran Dhillon, Brand Manager at Echo Falls, said the company wanted to create something fun that reflected the popularity of Blue Raspberry while offering a unique solution for nights out with friends.
