This month, it’s all about channeling your inner calm and Roof East is taking Londoners to new heights with a series of rooftop yoga classes with unparalleled views, set to blow away the cobwebs after months of indoor exercise sessions. From 9th May, every Thursday evening and Sunday morning, perfect your downward dog against a backdrop of London views from the Stratford rooftop.
Whether you’ve had a stressful Thursday at work or you’re looking to start your Sunday the right way, Roof East’s yoga sessions are sure to help you switch off and rejuvenate your body and mind. Find your inner zen and switch off from the outside world.
The yoga sessions will be run by Animo Yoga, a studio based in London’s Bethnal Green with a focus on classes that aim to animate and revive those that attend. Their classes will help you to press pause on life’s pressures by releasing any tension and stress you might be under.
Rooftop yoga sessions will be available every Thursday evening (6.15-7.15pm) and Sunday morning (11.45-12.45) from 9th May for £16 per class and spaces must be booked in advance at Animo Yoga. Attendees will need to bring their own yoga mat and are advised to wear appropriate clothing.
Roof East is open all summer, with a host of exciting games to get your competitive juices flowing. Challenge your friends at Sluggers batting cages, putt your way to victory at Birdies mini golf or try the all new East London Bowls Club. Londoners can also grab delicious food from one of their three street food traders and a drink from the bar, all against an iconic London backdrop.
Walk-ins will be accepted but as the roof will be operating at reduced capacity its best to book via the Roof East website. In line with government regulations, Roof East will be adhering to the ‘Rule of 6’ and all parties must be limited to 6 people. All tickets are fully transferable, free of charge depending on any changes to Government guidelines.
