Streaming service NOW TV is giving Game of Thrones superfans one last chance to nab a FREE Game of Thrones tattoo as it opens the doors for walk-up appointments at its GOT Ink tattoo takeover.
Queues at The Circle London started early this morning, under the frosty gaze of the Night King, for one of 50 available walk-up slots, with the parlour officially opening for business at 11:00.
With over 6,000 requests for the limited number of pre-bookable slots, demand for the designs created by Lauren Winzer, the celebrity tattoo artist behind Sophie Turner’s The Pack Survives tattoo, has been off the charts. Walk-ups are now the only way to get one of Winzer’s 16 designs indelibly tattooed for free.
One of the first to get past the Night King and claim their tattoo was Stuart Buchanan, 32, from Leytonstone, London, said:
“We’ve been waiting for nearly two years for the show to come back, so I was up at 2am to watch the first ep. Love them or hate them we all know there’s a couple of good Lannisters, so when I saw Lauren’s tattoo designs I knew I wanted the iconic lion on my arm for life, and I don’t even want them to win and claim the throne!”
Lauren Winzer, who designed the Game of Thrones tattoos for NOW TV, said:
“I’m so thrilled to be a part of this. As a huge Game of Thrones fan myself, it’s been incredible to see so many fans getting tattooed with my designs, all while streaming their favourite show!”
