FANS OBSESSED IN LOVE ISLAND THEORY AS THE POOL GUY IS DUBBED RONNIE VINTS DOPPELGANGER

Already being hyped as the most successful series on record, Joey Essex’s entrance into Love Island on Monday has already made the history books – but it’s not just Joey that viewers are obsessing over.

Social Media superstar Miles Laflin, AKA The Pool Guy, has been inundated with DMs and comments from fans across the UK following the launch of ITV’s Love Island on Monday – but not to ask for pools to be cleaned like usual.

The professional pool technician rose to fame in 2020 during lockdown for his satisfying pool cleaning content and now has a whopping 20M followers across his platforms has been flooded with messages about one of the cast.

It appears fans have whipped themselves up into a frenzied conspiracy theory that Miles is the brother of fresh arrival Ronnie Vint – a semi-professional footballer from North London, where Miles is also from. And to be honest, it’s not too hard to see why.

Both Ronnie and Miles DO actually look like they could be brothers, the square jaw and the hairline, stubble beard, not forgetting the nose and blue eyes – but the main thing that seems to be getting everyone in a flap is their voice and mannerisms. Then there is the geographical link.

“OMG you look just like Ronnie from Love Island – twins!” “RONNIE DOPPPELGANGER” and “You remind me so much of Ronnie – your voice is the same like WTF!” have been just some of the comments which has slid into Miles’ DMs.

But this isn’t the link to the new series for the social media star – as it turns out he has also cleaned Joey Essex’s swimming pool.

Miles was thrilled to help the cheeky Essex lad out with his pool clean back in 2022 and is heading over to his pad while he is in the villa to ensure its clean as a whistle for his return from Majorca.

Miles is hoping Producer’s of the ITV hit show might find it funny to fly him out to clean the Love Island swimming pool so he can give him the news about his own pool while he is on the show.

Miles said:

“The islanders spend all day everyday in that pool for 8 weeks and we never see anyone cleaning it. I’m not saying it isn’t done – but yeah would be cool to get to do that pool for sure. It would be hell of a funny moment to see Joey’s face if I walked in to sort it out for them one day.”

“Maybe I can go in when Ronnie’s fam are flown out if he is still there near the end, as apparently I am his brother now which is hilarious. The funniest thing is I haven’t even watched it and didn’t know anything about him until all the messages started flying in, I had a google and to be fair, I can see it! Ha! Not sure about this wig thing though – I definitely don’t have one!”

Ronnie Vint (@ronnievint), a 27-year-old semi-professional footballer, is already causing a stir in the villa seemingly playing two ladies off one another prior to Joey’s entrance – Jess White (25) is coupled up with Ronnie while he was seen hitting it off with Samantha Kenny (26) behind the scenes. He kissed Jess on the terrace on day one but appeared to be keeping his options open with Scouse bombshell Samantha – until Joey walked in.

Miles continued “I think I would have a word with Ronnie if he was actually my bro – he’s jumped the gun a bit with two of the girls and I think it might have been a better shout to slow down and think about how it’s all coming across – I would be his older Brother to be fair as I am 34 so yeah, slow and steady wins the race Bro!”
