EE has announced that it will offer Apple’s latest device line-up in the UK, including the new iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5.
The announcement comes as Apple expands its latest generation of hardware, with the headline addition being the iPhone Duo, described as the company’s first foldable iPhone.
EE says it will combine the new Apple devices with its 5G network, while also becoming the first UK network to support Apple’s new iPhone Handoff feature later this year.
When can you pre-order the new Apple devices?
There are different pre-order dates depending on which Apple product customers are interested in.
The Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 are available to pre-order from 11 September, with devices arriving from 18 September.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max can be pre-ordered from 12 September, with availability beginning on 18 September.
The new iPhone Duo will follow later, with pre-orders opening on 16 October ahead of its release on 23 October.
Customers can check the latest pricing, tariffs and availability directly through EE.
EE will be the first UK network to support iPhone Handoff
One of the more interesting announcements is EE’s support for Apple’s new iPhone Handoff capability.
Coming later this year, the feature will allow customers to switch between two iPhone models while continuing to use the same mobile number.
That could prove particularly useful for people who use different devices for different situations, allowing them to move between compatible iPhones without needing to manage separate mobile numbers.
EE says the feature will give customers greater flexibility when using multiple Apple devices, making it easier to stay connected without interruption.
iPhone Duo brings Apple’s first foldable iPhone
The biggest change to Apple’s iPhone range comes in the form of iPhone Duo, which introduces a foldable design to the series for the first time.
When opened, the device features a large 7.6-inch inner display, designed for watching content, gaming and multitasking. When folded, it becomes a more compact device with a 5.4-inch outer display.
Apple has also designed the hardware around a precision hinge, with the company positioning the device as both versatile and durable.
Under the hood, iPhone Duo is powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, which is designed to deliver pro-level performance alongside all-day battery life.
The foldable design also introduces new possibilities for photography, with the camera system taking advantage of the different ways the phone can be positioned and used.
iPhone Duo will be available in Star White and Night Sky finishes.
The device also features an eSIM-only design, allowing Apple to use the internal space that would traditionally be required for a physical SIM towards other components, including the battery.
iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max focus on cameras and performance
Alongside the foldable iPhone, Apple is introducing the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Both models are powered by the new A20 Pro chip and feature Apple’s latest camera technology, including a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture.
Apple describes this as its most advanced iPhone camera yet, while new Pro controls are designed to give users greater control over their photography and video.
The new Pro models also promise significant improvements to performance and battery life.
Both iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro models include Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI, which Apple says will combine personal context with broader knowledge while keeping privacy and security at the centre of the experience.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available in Black, Silver, Glacier and a new Burgundy finish.
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 arrive with new health features
Apple’s latest wearable line-up is also coming to EE, with the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 introducing new health, fitness and connectivity features.
Both models feature Apple’s new Health Sensing System alongside the S11 chip, with the company claiming the watches offer its most accurate heart-rate sensing yet.
New health and fitness features include a readiness score, more frequent heart-rate and heart-rate variability measurements, improved workout battery life and faster charging.
Both models also support 5G cellular connectivity, allowing users to stay connected without relying solely on a nearby iPhone.
The Apple Watch Series 12 will be available in 42mm and 46mm sizes, with finishes including Dark Bronze, Black, Light Gold and Space Grey aluminium, as well as Radiant Gold and Natural Titanium.
Apple is also offering a ceramic version in Pearl White and Night Blue.
The Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be available in Natural Titanium and Black Titanium.
Siri AI is coming to Apple Watch
With the arrival of watchOS 27, Apple is bringing its AI-powered features to the wrist.
Apple Intelligence and Siri AI will be available on Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, giving users access to Siri’s personal context capabilities alongside broader world knowledge.
Apple is also introducing new Audio Intelligence features later this year, initially arriving in beta in English.
These features are designed to help users keep track of what’s happening around them, catch information they may have missed and remember important moments.
AirPods 5 introduce enhanced noise cancellation
The new AirPods 5 are also joining EE’s Apple line-up.
Apple says the latest AirPods feature its best Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) in an open-ear design, using a new multiport acoustic architecture and next-generation Adaptive EQ.
The company claims the updated ANC can remove up to 50% more external noise compared with the previous generation, while a redesigned Transparency mode aims to provide a more natural listening experience.
The AirPods also integrate with Siri AI and the iPhone, allowing users to access information hands-free.
Users can respond to Siri using head gestures, while Live Translation is designed to help people communicate across different languages.
For customers wanting additional features, the AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case adds longer battery life and volume controls on the stems.
EE upgrades make Apple’s latest devices more accessible
EE is also highlighting several upgrade options for existing customers.
Eligible customers on Flex Pay plans can use Early Phone Swap, allowing them to upgrade up to a year early on selected 36- and 48-month plans.
Small business customers will also have the option to upgrade at any time on selected plans.
Meanwhile, EE Trade In provides another way for customers to reduce the cost of upgrading by trading in an existing device.
Eligible plans can also include Fast Lane, EE’s dedicated 5G+ service designed to provide faster and more reliable connectivity when the network is particularly busy.
Following the launch of iOS 27, compatible iPhone users will see a 5G+ indicator when connected to EE’s advanced 5G+ network.
Apple’s latest devices meet EE’s 5G network
EE is positioning the new Apple range as a combination of Apple’s latest hardware and its mobile connectivity.
The network says its 5G service offers coverage across a large proportion of the UK, while its 5G+ network is available in major towns and cities.
For customers using their devices for everything from streaming and gaming to video calls, content creation and mobile payments, EE says the combination of its network and Apple’s latest hardware is designed to deliver a premium connected experience.
Claire Gillies, CEO Consumer at BT, said the company was proud to bring Apple’s latest devices to EE customers and highlighted the network’s position as the UK’s launch partner for iPhone Handoff.
With the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro range, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 all joining EE’s portfolio, customers will have plenty of options when it comes to Apple’s latest generation of hardware.
Pre-orders are available through EE stores, EE telesales and online, with the different devices launching throughout September and October.
