For the first time in over a decade, everyone’s favourite animated family is back in the gaming world, bringing the quirky charm of Springfield to Fortnite’s ever-expanding universe.
Welcome to Cel-Shaded Springfield
The new Fortnite x The Simpsons event invites players to drop into Springfield Island, an 80-player arena that combines the fast-paced action of Fortnite Battle Royale with the nostalgic humour of The Simpsons. Expect a rotating calendar of weekly gameplay updates, exclusive items, and themed shop offerings — all inspired by the long-running show.
Fans can explore Springfield’s most iconic locations, from Moe’s Tavern to the Nuclear Power Plant, reimagined in a vibrant cel-shaded style.
Weekly Simpsons Shorts on Disney+
In collaboration with Gracie Films and Epic Games, a series of original animated shorts will premiere globally on Disney+ and across Fortnite’s official social channels.
The first short dropped today, with new episodes arriving every Monday throughout November, setting the scene for each week’s in-game narrative. Once gameplay goes live on Tuesdays, players can even catch these shorts within Fortnite itself, via the “Quests” tab.
The Springfield Battle Pass
Players can unlock Springfield’s finest with the Springfield Battle Pass, featuring premium outfits such as Homer, Marge, Ned Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and the fan-favourite Springfielder Peely.
