This morning, Verge was lucky enough to attend the a star-studded launch at Chessington World of Adventures Resort – ‘Room on the Broom – A Magical Journey’, which brings to life yet another of author Julia Donaldson’s much-loved children’s stories at the Surrey Resort, following in the footsteps of the ‘Gruffalo River Ride Adventure’.
We attended with celeb parents including Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Frankie and Wayne Bridge, David Mitchell, Shayne Ward and Sophie Austin.
After a spooky-themed breakfast, we got to help the witch and her cat find her lost belongings;
As the stormy wind blew, the witch’s hat, bow and wand go tumbling to the ground and parents and children alike have to search high and low in trees, fields and reeds helping Dog, Bird and Frog on their way to find the lost items. But watch out though for a fearsome foe, Dragon, who fancies ‘Witch and chips’ for his tea!
The addition to Chessington World of Adventures Resort opens to the public this weekend.
