CELEBRATE THE SPOOKY SEASON WITH BOXPARK’S DAY OF THE DEAD FIESTA

Spend this year’s scary season at BOXPARK as Halloween celebrations boast a grand fiesta of the famous Mexican holiday ‘Day of The Dead’ and a spookylicious selection of food and drink from its traders.

DAY OF THE DEAD LUCHA LIBRE EXTRAVAGANZA

On Saturday 7 November, BOXPARK Croydon is hosting its own Day of the Dead Festival with a twist. Sponsored by Coors Light, BOXPARK has teamed up with Lucha Libre World to present a thrilling spectacle of Mexican Lucha Libre, also known as ‘freestyle wrestling’.

The event will feature eight sensational Luchadores fighting for the Day of the Dead Championship in a high-flying, dramatic and dazzling battle between rudos and tecnicos! Plus special performances by London’s Mariachi stars & La Catrina dancers. 

During the day, the event will offer family activities such as paper wrestling, mask making, skulls decorating, and face painting, plus special performances by London’s Mariachi stars, La Catrina dancer & guest Latin DJs playing popular Latin music.

DAY OF THE DEAD REGGAETON BRUNCH

A bottomless brunch Halloween special is coming to BOXPARK Shoreditch on Sunday 31 October with Casa De Reggaeton. Expect exciting South American fusion music and a mix of DJs, live performances and unbeatable vibes. 

All tickets include food tokens and 1hr of bottomless Pornstar Martini, Coors, Rekorderlig or Soft Drinks. A variety of dishes will be redeemable for 1 and 2 token values so you can mix and match from two traders or go all in at one!

FOOD & DRINK

At BOXPARK bars, you can find our very own Halloween special – the ‘Hennessey Zombie’, boasting tropical flavours of Cointreau, Amaretto, Passion Fruit Puree, Pineapple Juice and Grenadine. 

Get tricks and treats at BOXPARK Shoreditch with Soft Serve’s ‘Web Me Out’ special featuring brownies and waffle creatures trapped in a web of marshmallows and decorated with spooky sprinkles. Vegan cookie dough bakery Humbledough is offering a box of 4 Halloween cookies topped with hand-crafted chocolate bats and ghouls at both its Shoreditch and Croydon branches. 

BOXPARK Wembley will be home to Nanny Bill’s ‘The Hot Devil’ with Buttermilk fried chicken, Bullseye Carolina reaper Mayo, American cheese, red onion chutney, seeded bun topped with chilli devil horns. Indulge in a sweet treat at Longboys with a Pumpkin Spiced Latte and Jack-O-Lantern Sundae – vanilla soft serve, pumpkin caramel, apple and pumpkin spice. Lastly, Greek trader Smashing Plates is serving up ‘Death By Chocolate Pitta Nuts’ – a Cinnamon and Sugar dipped Sweet Pitta covered in rich chocolate hazelnut sauce.

At BOXPARK Croydon, Tinseltown has a limited edition Pumpkin Spice Shake and Love Churros are doing their own ‘Spooky SZN’ with churros wrapped in spine-chilling webs, worms and skulls. If you want something savoury, Neapolitan pizzeria Fatto A Mano is bringing out a special autumnal recipe with its Pumpkin Cream & Vegan ‘Nduja pizza. 

Upstairs you can find Sluggers’ Latin American restaurant and bar which are doing a Zombie cocktail this Halloween for just £8. Expect a concoction of light rum, dark rum and spiced rum, citrus fruits, pomegranate, tropical juices, aniseed and served with overproof rum on fire and a dusting of cinnamon – it’s enough to ‘wake the dead.’  They will also be offering a £8 Margarita on 2nd and 7th of November for BOXPARK’s Day of the Dead celebrations.
