Rock in Rio Lisbon is preparing for a historic edition in 2024, and has just confirmed three internationally renowned artists set to electrify the stages on 23 June, a day dedicated to younger audiences. Global superstar Camila Cabello will take to the World Stage, while Luísa Sonza and Pedro Sampaio will bring their infectious energy to the Galp Stage.
Camila Cabello, a singer-songwriter with a remarkable career, has become one of today’s most recognisable artists. From her first steps on the music scene as part of the group Fifth Harmony to her successful solo career, the artist has won both hearts and awards worldwide. Her debut solo album “Camila” was critically acclaimed, praised for her powerful vocals and ability to convey emotion through her music. This will be the first time that the Cuban artist, known for her global hits such as “Havana” and “Señorita”, will perform in Portugal under her own name. Her appearance, previously scheduled for Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020 and later cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is now a long-awaited reality for all her admirers in Portugal who will be able to witness her charismatic performance.
Ascending in her career, Luísa Sonza stands out as one of Brazil’s most gifted artists, set to illuminate the Galp Stage at Rock in Rio Lisbon. She has already won over audiences with her versatile music, which ranges from pop to funk. Her chart-topping hits such as “Não Preciso de Você Pra Nada”, “Garupa” and “Chico” have solidified her position as a standout figure in today’s pop landscape. With a captivating stage presence and a powerful voice, Luísa Sonza is ready to bring all her energy and charisma to her Portuguese fans, providing a unique and unforgettable experience at the festival.
Brazilian DJ, producer and singer Pedro Sampaio stands out in the scene for mixing the beats of funk carioca, his base rhythm, with other musical styles. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Sampaio won the hearts of fans with his electrifying energy and innovative productions, and stood out for his ability to create captivating mixes. His hits, such as “Galopa”, “Atenção” and “No Chão Novinha”, quickly became hits on dance floors and streaming platforms, and “Dançarina” holds the record for the longest-running song at number one in the Portuguese charts. With a unique approach that mixes different musical styles, Pedro Sampaio promises to take the Rock in Rio Lisbon audience on an unforgettable place on the Galp Stage, making the last day of the festival even more memorable.

The 10th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon is scheduled to take place on 15, 16, 22 and 23 June 2024 at Parque Tejo Lisboa, where the new City of Rock will be built to host the historic edition celebrating 20 years of the festival in Portugal. Expect this edition to be extra special, packed with music, entertainment, and exciting new additions yet to come.
