Back in Business! Carling’s Shirt Amnesty van hits the road again with Jimmy Bullard this January!

With the football season entering the home straight and fans up and down the nation desperate to keep hold of their key players during the January transfer window, Carling’s Shirt Amnesty van is back in business to help ease the pain of losing your club’s star man.

Having given away thousands of free football shirts in the summer, Carling’s nationwide Shirt Amnesty will once again be giving football supporters throughout the UK the chance to swap the shirt of a recently sold player on the back, for a brand new one free of charge.

As the biggest transfers are announced in January, Carling will be revving up the Shirt Amnesty van and heading straight out to locations across the UK to help fans get over their disappointment. Fans will be able to turn up and swap their football shirt for free – literally from the back of a van!

Having toured the country before the start of the season, visiting locations including Manchester, Liverpool, London and Birmingham, fans across the country can get involved again in January by following @Carling on Twitter to find out when the van will be calling at a city near them.

Whether scoring sensation Jamie Vardy decides to swap the Midlands for Madrid or Diego Costa locates the Chelsea exit door, Carling will be on hand to dish out new shirts for fans, with hundreds of shirts ready to be given away by the end of the January transfer window.

Carling has once again teamed up with ex-Premier League and England footballer Jimmy Bullard to help encourage fans to get involved during January.

Jimmy Bullard commented: “The transfer window is open and the Carling Shirt Amnesty van is back in business! There’s nothing worse than seeing one of your heroes jump ship for a rival club so let Carling ease that pain by giving you the chance to swap the football shirt of a recently sold player for a brand new, free one this January!

“Any initiative that gives something back to fans during the transfer window is well up my street so follow @Carling on twitter to see where the van will be parking up next!”
