Featuring 10 obstacles across 5 kilometres, Tough Mudder’s ‘Cousin in the City’ heads to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford

On Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th March, Tough Mudder will take over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford for a unique course set to thrill participants and spectators alike.

The course, known as Tough Mudder’s ‘cousin in the city’ and spans 5 kilometres, will feature 10+ of Tough Mudder’s top-rated obstacles designed to encourage teamwork and camaraderie.

Amongst the obstacles are 5 which are brand new for 2018– including Giant A-Hole and Hanging Out. Giant A-Hole stands at a whopping 6.5m tall and requires participants to scramble up and over the enormous structure whilst participants taking on Hanging Out will be swinging from ring-to-ring through the middle of the participants climbing over the Giant A-Hole above them. This one-of-a-kind obstacle is sure to be the feature of the new 5K course and a great place for spectators to see the action up close.

Running through the day and into the evening, the Tough Mudder Up Late Friday event, first of its kind, is expected to draw in after-office crowds and groups of friends alike. Both Friday and Saturday events will host street food vans, a bar and more, all to be enjoyed by the public, who can spectate for free.

Other events in the 5K series, listed below, are currently on sale and include a finisher pint, 5K headband, 5K performance finisher t-shirt and event photography. Ticket prices will go up closer to event date, so those interested are encouraged to buy early, however tickets will also be available on the day;
