ALL EYES ON THE (BURGER) KING

Burger King UK has changed its iconic logo by spotlighting the word ‘King’ and removing ‘Burger’ in time for the Coronation weekend. 

The iconic Home of the Whopper has decided to share its crown for the weekend to honour the new King in town, as fans flock to the capital to see Charles become monarch. What’s more, eagle-eyed crowds heading into London for the occasion have spotted giant digital billboards hijacked by Burger King UK en route, playfully proclaiming: ‘From one to another.’ 

Ahead of the big weekend, Burger King UK is also helping the nation feast like a King by serving up a royale-ly good buy-one-get-one-free offer on Chicken and Vegan Royales.

Available for a limited time only during the biggest weekend of the year (6th-8th May 2023), all fans have to do to tuck into the epic saving is claim their free Royale using the Burger King app when ordering in restaurants or via the app nationwide.

True to its name, the Royale is fit for royalty, and consists of tasty chicken wrapped in a special crisp coating, topped with iceberg lettuce, creamy mayo and crowned with a toasted sesame seed bun. Equally delicious, the Vegan Royale is also on offer and boasts a crispy vegan patty, complete with iceberg lettuce and vegan mayo, served in the signature sesame seed bun.

As a bonus treat, burger lovers can ‘Crown It’ and add extra bacon and cheese onto any meal for just £1 when ordering in restaurants.

But the good news doesn’t stop there, as Burger King fans over the Coronation weekend are in for a special treat. Fans can eat in style as Burger King UK has unveiled limited-edition Crowns to help celebrate like royalty.

Those looking to get their hands on a Coronation Crown can pick up the freebie in Burger King restaurants nationwide from 3rd May 2023, as well as at parades across London and Windsor, but fans must be quick before they’re gone.
