Lancaster London has introduced a wonderful new afternoon tea. You can now drink in the glorious views of Hyde Park whilst drinking Britainâ€™s favourite hot beverage and enjoying some delicious sweet treats.
New Executive Chef Ben Purton has created a fun and traditional afternoon tea, with nostalgic candy inspired sweet treats including: white chocolate truffle & raspberry lollypops with popping candy, mini pistachio macaroons, and a caramel & hazelnut tranche. Freshly bakes scones will also be available, warm from the oven, and served with hotel made strawberry jam and delightful Cornish clotted cream. Wow.
If sweet treats arenâ€™t your thing â€“ (are you even human?!) – the new menu also includes savoury classics with a contemporary twist such as egg & wild cress choux buns, coronation chicken tartlets and Lancaster London smoked salmon sandwiches accompanied by a selection of fresh loose leaf teas.Â Guests are even presented with a mini sand-timer each to make sure their Novus Tea is brewed to perfection.
The Afternoon tea is served on a traditional tiered stand, with each guest having their own beautifully presented plate. The crockery is all by Wedgwood China, adding a final touch of class to the presentation. All of this is priced at Â£30, and is available in the sumptuous first floor lounge from 2:30 till 5:00pm.
If you fancy a little something extra, you can opt for the Laurent-Perrier Champagne Afternoon Tea, priced at Â£40. This is perfect for any special occasion, or if you just want to treat yourself â€“ you deserve it. This is the perfect place to start your New Year in style.
