The new aisles include a gifting section that selects the best gifts that are available across all stores on the app, so whether you’re buying for a chocolate lover, or if you’ve forgotten your work secret santa gift, Uber Eats will deliver the items you need with just a few taps.
Uber Eats will be open throughout the festive period, and with thousands of gift options for customers, there is sure to be something for everyone, with categories including Chocolate Lovers, Secret Santa, Sweet Stocking Fillers, For New Parents and Film Buffs. Once you’ve scrolled and found the perfect gift, Uber Eats aims to deliver the item within 30 minutes.
2023 has seen millions of grocery orders on the Uber Eats app, with milk being the most ordered item via Uber Eats over the past 12 months.

The peak day for grocery deliveries was Monday, followed by Sunday as Brits look to restock their cupboards and fridges ahead of a new week. The app saw the most orders between 4-7pm across the week, whilst London was the home of the grocery order, placing more orders than the rest of the UK.
Working with thousands of stores across the UK including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Iceland and the Co-op, each Uber Eats supermarket menu boasts thousands of items. With orders arriving in 30 minutes, it means customers don’t need to worry about finding a delivery slot and can do both big shops and find forgotten items in a few taps of the Uber Eats app.
