Verge was lucky enough to attend The Unsigned Music Awards Nominations Launch Party, where they revealed the much anticipated nominee’s for this year’s Unsigned Music Awards. We spent the evening surrounded by incredible talent and great company and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.
If you haven’t heard of the UMAs before, it is an amazing event that focuses on cheering on up and coming artists and giving them a brilliant platform to start their careers off with a bang!
The night was full of brilliant performances, one being the amazing Jerry Williams (pictured above) who took the stage by storm. Amongst all the excitement, chatter and great food, we found out some of the inspiring nominee’s for this year’s UMAs taking place in May. The nominee’s included the likes of Jorja Smith, Tom Misch, Kojey Radical, Dave and Rex Orange County. There was even a few cheeky announcements of what performances we can expect on the night; including Tayla, Mullally, Anavae and Foreign Beggars.
We’re very passionate about new and fresh talent here at Verge, and we can definitely confirm that if you love to stay ahead of the curve, watch out for this years UMA’s – as it’s sure to turn heads.
