Marc Jacobs has revealed that Winona Ryder is the face of his brand’s upcoming beauty campaign. The designer took to Instagram to share the news, accompanied by a snap of the actress clutching some pearls, whilst resting her head elegantly on a mirror. Looking every inch the 1960’s icon, Winona gave us eyeliner-envy with perfect black and white feline flicks.
It may be fourteen years on from when the 44 year old was caught shoplifting $5,560 worth of designer goods, including a $760 Marc Jacobs sweater, but it appears all was forgiven by Marc who captioned his Insta post with a passionate message: “It is with great pride that I ‘leak’ this image from our upcoming 2016 MARC JACOBS BEAUTY campaign”
Describing the Beetlejuice star as ‘ON FLEEK’, it seems that Marc has made the perfect choice in selecting the face of his beauty campaign: “Winona does not model the look she gets into the role- and exudes it! A brilliant mind, talent, and physical beauty like no other, I am delighted to share this image of Winona with my IG fans and followers today”.
Marc Jacobs then shared a few glamorous throwback snaps of the pair together, proving they have been firm friends for many years. No grudges have been held here, that’s what we like to see.
