From Friday 21st November to Sunday, 4th January, Winter Wonderland Hyde Park is open every day from 10am to 10pm (except on Christmas day). There is free entry to the festivities that offer more entertainment and attractions than ever before!
Tickets can be purchased online for for the main attractions: ice skating, the Magical Ice Kingdom, Giant Observation Wheel, and Zippos Circus. The Lycamobile Ice Rink, the UK’s largest ice rink at 1,600m2, is back and will be located close to the beautiful Victorian Bandstand, where live music will be played a skaters are enjoying the ice. For those who would rather support the skaters than skate, you can watch the action from above in the illuminated Giant Observation Wheel.
The wildly successful sub-zero experience, the Magical Ice Kingdom, is also returning to Winter Wonderland with even more fantastic snow and ice sculptures. Children and adults are invited to walk through the magical, frozen world of princesses, unicorns,
kings and queens. All are also invited to sit with the Knights of the Round Table and take pictures on the castle’s ice thrones.
By popular demand, the Zippos Circus will be returning to the festivities with two shows; a day-time show, friendly for all ages, and a night-time show for those seeking a bit of thrill and mystery, Cirque Berserk. The performances will be held in the Mega Dome,
the newest, largest circus venue in London standing over 65 ft tall, designed specifically for Winter Wonderland.
Other visitor favourites returning to Winter Wonderland include Santa Land, which is perfect for children as Father Christmas will make an appearance every day along with his Elves and bag of free gifts. For the adults, there will be over 200 chalets in the stunning Angels Christmas & Yuletide Markets offering original and handmade crafts, perfect for the gifting season!
The Bavarian Village is also back with more delicious bratwurst and mulled wine than before. The Village will host live music throughout the many restaurants and bars, making sure everyone remains in good spirits.
Winter Wonderland has remained a huge hit amongst celebrity crowds, having been visited by everyone from Prince Harry, One Direction, Uma Thurman, to Cara Delevingne, Helena Bonham Carter, and Tim Burton.
