Today, Girl Up, the United Nations Foundation’s adolescent girl campaign, announced that British model and actress Cara Delevingne is joining Girl Up as a Champion. The 24-year-old star will support Girl Up programs that create change and empower girl leaders around the world.
I’m truly honored to add my voice to the work Girl Up is doing to empower young women and create an entire generation of female leaders. As I’ve traveled the world, I’ve seen the power that investing in girls can have. An empowered and supported girl is an incredible force for change; a change I am now excited to be a part of.
