5 EASY STEPS TO GET THROUGH A BREAKUP

Unfortunately, not every love lasts forever and getting over someone can really suck. We’ve created the perfect guide to make sure you get back on your feet as quickly as possible!

1.  SPACE

It is important that after the break up you have some time to yourself. No late night texting, no stalking social media, no taking to Facebook to air out all you’re exes dirty laundry. Take a beat – read a book, watch some movies, go out and socialize. Resist contacting them, remember – it’s meant to be hard at first.

2. FOOD

Indulge, indulge, indulge! Eat all the food that you probably shouldn’t. In order for you to fully recover, you need to give yourself that pig out stage. It’s perfectly normal to eat a whole pizza in your bed, whilst watching Netflix. Just for now though, this is a short-term rule.

3. FITNESS AND HOBBIES

We understand that exercise isn’t really for everyone, and believe us when we tell you that gym payments can be painful. Nevertheless, a good gym mixed with some friends can be a really great way to start feeling good again. If you’re not into going to the gym, then maybe look at other ways to socialize with others. Whether it’s going out after work with friends or attending classes you haven’t been to before to meet new people. Anything is better than staying indoors looking at your ex’s instagram.

4. GET AWAY

Every fresh start deserves to begin with a bang! It’s probably worth grabbing a cheap flight somewhere new with some friends or even just by yourself! Take a long weekend to get up and go somewhere new or your favourite spot – avoid any trips down memory lane though.

5. ACCEPT IT

You may be single for a while, or not for long. Usually, when a relationship ends its because it’s not working… so why be upset about it? Remember, every door that shuts another window opens. There might be someone amazing around the corner or it might just be time for you to work on you. Being alone is never a bad thing; it just takes some getting used to.
